ClosingRace combines scientific insights from psychology with modern technology to truly motivate teams.
My background is in business and digital psychology. During my studies I noticed how little psychological insights are incorporated into business software – even though research on motivation and team dynamics has existed for decades. ClosingRace is an attempt to change that.
Most tools focus on processes. But in the end it’s people who achieve goals — or don’t. That’s what this is about.
Why ClosingRace?
Research shows: financial incentives alone motivate in the short term, but can even be counterproductive in the long run. What works sustainably are autonomy, social relatedness and a sense of progress – principles from self-determination theory.
